La ferme de la tourelle is a calm and relaxing place. Located in Longue-sur-Mer between Arromanches, Port en Bessin and Bayeux, there's no shortage of places to visit! Discover iconic sites such as the D-Day landing beaches, the American cemetery and Notre Dame de Bayeux Cathedral. Enjoy the comforts of the countryside while staying close to the sea. What's more, you'll enjoy the charm of the farmhouse, with its 17th-century architecture typical of the Bessin region.

The Bayeux city

Welcome to Normandy in the town of Bayeux!
Situated on the River Aure in Calvados, the town is less than 10 km from the farm. Known for its historic sites, the town of Bayeux is a tourist destination not to be missed. You'll find a town centre of cobbled streets and half-timbered houses, with the imposing Notre-Dame Cathedral in its Norman Gothic style at its centre. What's more, discover the famous Bayeux Tapestry, 68 metres long. These weavings refer to the Norman invasion of England in 1066 and are a UNESCO World Heritage Site.

Great building !
Lots of space and calm. Spacious and nicely decorated rooms. Private bathroom and toilet for each. Nice breakfast room with the welcome, the kindness and the good mood of the owner. To see and stay! I hope to see you soon! Thank you

Great place !
Very quiet with a beautiful setting and a very warm welcome. Very nice, clean and large room. It's even better than at home. Very friendly and copious breakfast and in common with the other guests of the gite. We are very pleased with the quality of the service and the quality of the accommodation. I would like to thank Delphine, the owner, for her excellent service and for the quality of the accommodation. A big thank you to Delphine the owner and Florence for taking such good care of us. The house is beautifully located !
 The rooms are functional and quite large. Yes, a bath can never be big enough, it was enough for us. The breakfast is delicious, if you ask, there are also freshly prepared eggs ;-). Having breakfast at the big common table was a new but great experience for us. Delphine took great care of us, her English is impeccable. Thank you for a great stay!
